Breathwork Coming to Sacred Space in November

I’m excited to share that individual and group breathwork sessions will be coming to Sacred Space from November 2026.

Breathwork is a powerful way of connecting with the body, the breath and the nervous system. Through intentional breathing practices, we can create space to slow down, settle, connect with ourselves and, in some practices, explore and release emotions and experiences that may be held within the body.

The breath is something we carry with us every moment of every day, yet we often don't realise just how much our breathing can influence the way we feel. When life becomes stressful or overwhelming, our breathing can change along with us. Learning to work with the breath can offer another pathway towards regulation, awareness and connection.

A breathwork experience to suit you

From November, there will be opportunities to participate in both individual and group breathwork sessions.

Some sessions will focus on gentle, calming practices designed to support nervous system regulation, relaxation and grounding. Other breathwork experiences will be more deeply experiential, providing an opportunity to explore emotions, patterns and experiences that may be held within the body.

You will have the choice of being supported individually or experiencing breathwork alongside others in a small group setting.

Individual sessions can provide a more personalised and contained experience, particularly for those who would prefer one-to-one support or who are wanting to explore breathwork at their own pace.

Group sessions offer the opportunity to experience breathwork in a supportive shared environment, while still allowing you to have your own individual experience.

Breathwork and trauma

I am particularly interested in the relationship between breath, the nervous system, the body and trauma. My approach is informed by my work in mental health, trauma-sensitive practice and mind-body approaches.

Some breathwork practices can support people to connect with emotions and experiences that may have been difficult to access through talking alone. For some people, this can feel deeply releasing.

However, breathwork isn't about forcing anything to happen. There is no expectation that you need to have a particular experience, release an emotion or revisit difficult memories. The intention is to create a space where you can listen to your body, work within your own capacity and be supported throughout the process.

My breathwork training

I am currently undertaking my breathwork training with Infinity Breathwork in Queensland, completing their certified breathwork program.

This training is allowing me to deepen my understanding of breathwork and its relationship with the nervous system, emotional wellbeing and embodied experience, while integrating it with the trauma-informed and body-based approaches that already form an important part of my work.

Coming in November

Whether you're completely new to breathwork or have explored it before, there will be opportunities to find an approach that feels right for you.

Individual and group breathwork sessions will be available from November 2026.

More information about session dates, locations, bookings and what to expect will be available soon.

If you’re curious about breathwork and would like to explore whether an individual or group session might be right for you, I’d love to welcome you to this new offering at Sacred Space.
